FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) District Events (Spring)
PIE3 teams will compete at two events on weekends in March. Look for updates on the FRC pages, on Facebook and on the FIRST Chesapeake website. All events are streamed on YouTube. Hopefully, one or more of our teams will advance to the District Championship in April, and maybe make another trip to the World Championship.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Qualifiers (Winter-Spring)
Our FTC teams start their qualifying tournament schedule in December, and it will be posted here once confirmed. These events will also be on YouTube, with links on the FIRST Chesapeake website. Come and see the event in person. Better yet, volunteer!
FIRST LEGO League Challenge Qualifiers (Winter)
PIE3 and the Robo-Lions are planning two events, one on January 25 and a second on January 26, 2025 at West Middle School in Westminster.
Robot Demonstrations (Any time)
Would you like an amazing robot at your event? Our teams love to share! We also sponsor robot competitions, classroom and community group visits, boy and girl scout badges, STEM training, summer camps and more. For 2024-2025 we are back in action around the community after a few years of virtual and hybrid events.
Robotics Camp (Summer)
In partnership with Kids@Carroll at Carroll Community College, we completed two full weeks in 2024. Look for 2025 sessions as we continue the partnership.
